Release Notes

Documentation and example code have been enhanced. New operator now supports creating objects in specified workspaces. The complete source code required for a Jetfire system (server and client nexus) is included in the release.

Highlights of Changes
  • V1.0.14.4: Documentation and examples have been improved.
  • V1.0.14.3 :Cosmetic and functional improvements to the Dashboard. Currently Dashboard is not regression tested. That will change for the next release.
  • V1.0.14: New operator now supports creating objects in specified workspaces
  • V1.0.14:Example code has been refreshed.
  • V1.0.14.4:Jetfire has been regression tested with 1644+ individual unit tests.
Notes:
  1. The source is in the attached zip file. It can be compiled using Visual Studio 2008. The solution file is in the "JefireDashboard" project/directory in the download.
  2. Jetfire ASP Web parts employing Microsoft's SQL database is available as a separate CodePlex project (http://www.codeplex.com/JetfireWebParts).

  6. Jetfire's first production release will be version V1.1. Even though it is currently a alpha product a number of productions applications are currently using the Jetfire. This this amateur sports site 'Events' page uses Jetfire workflows.
  7. Included is a 'dashboard' that allows the user to create and test 'Jetfire' scripts.

A 'ClickOnce' version of this program is available at http://jetfire.ca/downloads/publish.htm. The advantage is that the "ClickOnce" download automatically checks for a new version everytime the program is invoked.
